Popp Rok's Karena Evans to Direct Pilot for New Starz Series 'P-Valley'
Award-winning music video director Karena Evans has signed on to direct the pilot for a new TV series on the Starz network.
P-Valley (working title) is a strip club drama based on Katori Hall's play 'Pussy Valley.' The move marks the beginning of Evans' foray into TV and Film formats.
"It's exciting to watch directors from out shop work in different formats," explains Popp Rok executive producer and Evans' manager, Taj Critchlow. "We look forward to watching our team continue to grow."
