In its sixth year of the 'Ready for Football' brand platform, Arts & Letters and ESPN kicked off the NFL on ESPN season with 'Welcome to Football'. Now, they're introducing a new campaign, 'Playoff Pitch', which went live this past Friday, in time for the NFL Playoffs on ESPN.
Grabbing inspiration from the classic Monday Night Football anthem, 'Are you ready for some football', A&L created the 'Ready For Football' brand platform for the NFL on ESPN. The platform engages fans by elevating the drama, storylines, and stakes of the NFL season as it unfolds in real time.
鈥淲e鈥檙e celebrating the start of the NFL Playoffs on ESPN with the best booth in the sport in Joe Buck and Troy Aikman鈥nd some clever pitching from none other than Chad OchoCinco. This continues the momentum we showcased throughout an action-packed season of Monday Night Football,鈥 said vice president of sports marketing at ESPN, Curtis Friends.
Looking towards the 2024 NFL Playoffs, the 'Playoff Pitch' gives fans the feeling that anything is possible during this part of the season. In the campaign鈥檚 anthem, Chad 'OchoCinco' runs into Monday Night Football Play-By-Play Announcer Joe Buck and Game Analyst Troy Aikman, and excitedly pitches them ideas on how to add pizazz and that intense playoff feeling to their broadcast while following them around the stadium.
鈥淭o build off our kick off launch spot with Jason Kelce, we鈥檙e welcoming fans back to the most exciting part of the season with 鈥楶layoff Pitch鈥. We wanted to match what all NFL fans are feeling at this point, which is anxious, excited, and that anything is possible. Chad 鈥極choCinco鈥 Johnson brings this feeling to the next level, with unbridled enthusiasm for what watching this year鈥檚 playoffs could be,鈥 said Mike Behrends, creative director at Arts & Letters.
The spot will air from December 20th to January 6th and is airing on ESPN, ABC, FX, National Geographic, Hulu, plus OLV and social media.
