Open Water Post played a key role in bringing motion to The Collective Knowledge of Our Changing World, a new exhibit now open at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County (NHM). The Nashville-based post-production company was tapped to craft the motion component of the exhibit, which plays in a continuous loop on The Wall by Samsung.
Led by founder and editor Andy Peters and senior producer Matt Olson, Open Water Post collaborated for over 10 months with renowned photographer Craig Cutler and creative director Scott Bremner (CulterBremner) to develop a visually dynamic experience. The final video brings the museum’s vast collection to life, featuring expert color grading by Brett Price and set to the evocative track The Internal Locus by B.T.
The exhibit itself, The Collective Knowledge of Our Changing World, offers a fresh perspective on NHM’s extensive collection through Cutler’s photography. Debuting alongside the highly anticipated NHM Commons, the exhibit invites visitors to engage with the museum’s artifacts in a new way.
