One Green Bean Appoints Richard Tompkins as Managing Director for London

Richard will focus on delivering continued growth and momentum for the agency, ahead of its 10th birthday milestone in 2025

Specialist earned-first creative agency One Green Bean has named Richard Tompkins as its new UK managing director.

Richard brings 20+ years of UK and global PR experience to the agency, most recently running his strategic consultancy Where Eagles Dare, advising a range of consumer brand clients across multiple sectors. Prior to this, he was at W Communications for nine years, six of those as managing director, playing an integral role in the agency鈥檚 growth within the UK and abroad. His career has seen him build wide sector experience across retail, travel, FMCG, sport, luxury, food, beverage & automotive.

As managing director of One Green Bean鈥檚 London operation, Richard will take on the commercial and operations leadership of the business, working alongside founder and chief creative officer Kat Thomas, who continues to focus her time on clients, culture and industry leading creative work. 

Richard will focus on delivering continued growth and momentum for the agency, ahead of its 10th birthday milestone in 2025 and will build on its established AI investment, to further bed in artificial intelligence as a creative 鈥榮uper tool鈥. Tompkins has over seen multiple award-winning campaigns for clients including Marmite, Lynx, Papa Johns, British Airways and Jaguar Land Rover.

Richard said of his new role, 鈥淥ne Green Bean has always had a strong reputation for brilliant, award-winning creative work, along with good people and an outstanding client list - many of which have retained the agency for several years, so I鈥檓 very much looking forward to working with the team to take the company forward.鈥

One Green Bean London鈥檚 former managing director James Thomlinson left the company earlier this year to set up a growth consultancy.
