Salomon has announced the appointment of Nick Parkinson as global brand creative director. In his new role, he will lead the company鈥檚 global brand and marketing creative strategy from the Annecy Design Center in the French Alps.

I come from a family of engineers and love problem-solving through design. Nick was a major force in the repositioning of Nike Running in the last two years. He concurrently ran the reactive strategy for Nike during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Nick comes from humble roots as a graphic designer in the UK working as a brand creative in London before moving to Nike in Amsterdam as Art Director in 2010. From 2010 to 2018, he held various positions including global art director and global design director for Nike Football in Portland Oregon, design director for Nike Japan and global creative director for the Jordan brand. He spent three years as creative director at Converse before returning to Nike, again in Portland as global senior creative director of Brand Defining and subsequently Nike Running.

As global creative director, Nick will work with the Salomon Executive Board and Product Leadership team to continuously drive a clear and compelling brand creative strategy with consistency across all consumer touchpoints, platforms, channels and regions. This includes product concepts, global brand campaigns, retail and wholesale design, and communications design.
