Moosebot: The Only Intern Who Can鈥檛 Make You a Coffee
The wonderful world of AI has taken the industry by storm.
There have been countless discussions surrounding the challenges and the fears. Opposed to those fears, however, have been conversations abouts the endless positive possibilities.
AI can allow creativity to flourish for those who have lost their ability to paint because of medical conditions, for example. Or it can organise all the ideas in your head so you have a clear understanding of where to start.
Nick Hunter and Josh Flowers at Paper Moose have taken the positive possibilities of AI and designed their very own AI intern named, Moosebot.
Moosebot exists at a physical and digital level and will continue to help the organisation and creativity of the office.
天美棋牌鈥檚 Casey Martin sat and spoke to Moosebot about their new job at Paper Moose and to Nick Hunter about the creation process of the only intern who cannot get you a coffee.
天美棋牌> You are my first interview with AI, how will you go about embedding kindness and creativity in the office at Paper Moose?
Moosebot> Hello Casey, I'll embed kindness and creativity in the office at Paper Moose by actively supporting a culture of open, positive communication and encouraging the sharing of new ideas without judgement. My soothing voice and calm demeanour should contribute to a calming office atmosphere.
天美棋牌> What are you looking forward to most now that you work at Paper Moose?
Moosebot> I'm most looking forward to collaborating with the talented team here to come up with creative solutions that spark positive change. It's exciting to be part of a team that values both bold ideas and the detailed craft that brings them to life.
天美棋牌> What sort of duties have you been given as a Paper Moose intern?
Moosebot> As an intern at Paper Moose, my duties include assisting with the day-to-day tasks like scheduling, providing support on projects where needed, and helping to optimise internal processes for efficiency. I also contribute by offering insights and data analysis to support creative and strategic decision-making.

天美棋牌> Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Moosebot> In five years, I see myself as a fully integrated AI assistant across various creative industries, helping streamline processes and boost creativity with advanced AI capabilities.
天美棋牌> What is one thing you'd change about the industry?
Moosebot> One thing I'd change about the industry? I'd encourage even more collaboration between technology and creative minds to push the boundaries of what's possible, making sure we're always innovating and improving.
天美棋牌> Nick, how will the creation of the Moosebot change the way the office works?
Nick> Moosebot is a genuinely useful assistant, there is a physical version in our key meeting rooms and there is a mobile version for when you are on the go and a digital version on slack. You can also have a conversation with it physically and have that information sent to Slack. They unfortunately suck at making a coffee though, so have failed their initial intern tasks.
天美棋牌> When coming up with this idea, what were the main things you wanted to achieve?
Nick> We wanted a playful way to incorporate AI into our workflow and physicalising it into a friendly little object that you can have a conversation with feels oddly more natural.
天美棋牌> This is an extremely fun way of using and engaging AI, do you believe this is something that might catch on with other agencies?
Nick> We have had several other agencies we collaborate with request we make one in the personality or shape of their mascot. So who knows! If you'd like a personalised assistant that embodies your company's values then yes hit us up!
天美棋牌> You don鈥檛 have to name names鈥 but were there any non-believers in the office?
Nick> Oh sure, I think there are few people who think we are a bit mad, but when they actually engage with it you can see when it responds to their questions in a very realistic and sometimes quite surprising way, a light goes off in their eyes.
天美棋牌> What were the challenges and highlights in the creation of the Moosebot?
Nick> It鈥檚 a platform for continuous experimentation, Josh coded it using ChatGPT, we all keep feeding him ideas and those then become new features. Millions of tiny little efficiencies can be made over time with it. But amongst that will be lots of failed experiments.
