MAD STARS is now accepting applications for the Young Stars MAD Competition 2025, a global competition dedicated to discovering and nurturing the next generation of advertising and marketing talent.

As one of the world’s top-tier competitions in the field, YOUNG STARS provides a unique opportunity to highlight their creativity, develop real-world marketing solutions, and connect with industry leaders. More than just a competition, it serves as a launching pad for future creative pioneers.

Applications for the YOUNG STARS can be submitted through the , and participants may apply individually or as part of a team. The competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate (master’s) students, regardless of their major, and applications will be accepted until May 26.

Participants will compete in an online preliminary round, and finalists will be announced on June 10, on the MAD STARS website.

The final round for these selected YOUNG STARS will take place in Busan, South Korea, from August 26 to 29, 2025. Over four days, finalists will develop and produce a video or print advertisement within a 30-hour timeframe, based on a theme revealed on-site. After submission, participants will receive direct feedback from some of the world’s top creative professionals, gain insights into the latest industry trends and innovative ideation techniques.

The awards are categorized into Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Crystal. Even those who do not win an award will have the opportunity to attend MAD STARS 2025, as well as participate in exclusive conferences, the YOUNG STARS networking party, and various programs designed for YOUNG STARS participants, gaining exposure to the latest global advertising and marketing trends.
