In 2023, �������� partnered with VFX company COVERT to kick off a series of relaxed events aimed at regularly connecting the production industry in London. After a tasty year of packed out lunches, with hundreds of production professionals joining from across London to debate the state of the industry, celebrate work and catch up with old friends and new, �������� and COVERT have decided to take their favourite networking event stateside…

The exclusive dinner on March 4th, will bring together 30 of NYC’s finest production leaders from agencies, in-house teams and production companies for an intimate meal in the heart of Manhattan.

��������'s CEO Matt Cooper, Americas managing editor Addison Capper, MD for the Americas Jake Otley and Americas reporter Ben Conway will be co-hosting with Covert’s managing director Max Murphy, executive producer Ben Dubois, co-founder and executive producer Simon Dewey, and executive producer on the ground Nick Litwinko.

“The idea for this networking series really originated from our global producer’s dinner at Cannes Lions,” explains COO Phoebe Siggins Talbot. “For a good few years �������� had been bringing together production professionals on our beach there. People loved it, it was so popular we were straining for seats every year. The more we did it, the more we thought, how do we bring this to all the many people who don’t attend or can’t make it to Cannes?!”

Phoebe continues, “In the production space particularly, the landscape and budgets have changed dramatically and in tandem with a hybrid working environment in place for most businesses, local networking opportunities have been in huge decline. When I first met Max and Ben at COVERT they could really see the potential we had to bring back something our industry loves - valuable face-to-face interaction, a safe, exclusive space for a cathartic catch up with peers and good food. What’s been amazing to see is how it's grown, we now have a huge waitlist of people looking to join us every quarter and we’ve got lots of exciting editions planned this year in the UK. As the COVERT team expands more in the US, we thought it's a perfect opportunity to bring this to New York too. ”

We’re excited to bring together some of NYC’s best producers and heads of production - giving them a space to connect, commiserate, and maybe even hatch some brilliant plans.”
