McDonald鈥檚 has combined two icons to create Nuggies via DDB Sydney, in the next chapter of the 鈥楾ogether & Lovin鈥 It鈥 brand platform.
To close out the brand鈥檚 winter campaign, and in collaboration with Creator Studios, DDB Sydney and Macca鈥檚 designed and launched the new comfort staples with a teaser campaign across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Last week, Macca鈥檚 fans were directed to the official Nuggies website for the chance to win a free pair of the limited edition Nuggies, the colour and texture of which replicates McDonald鈥檚 iconic Chicken McNuggets.
Each pair will be snugly delivered in a large-scale Macca鈥檚 sauce tub, perfectly replicating the real thing, across three colourways inspired by classic sauce flavours: Sweet & Sour, Aioli, and Spicy Mayo.
McDonald鈥檚 senior brand manager Liz Whitbread said: 鈥淔rom the colour and texture to the sauce tub they鈥檙e delivered in 鈥 the entire Nuggies experience combines two iconic Aussie favourites.
鈥淢ore than 10,000 Macca鈥檚 fans signed up on the day to win a pair. We can鈥檛 wait for the lucky winners to try on their new staple for a comfy night in.鈥
DDB Sydney executive creative director Matt Chandler said: 鈥淭his is the kind of idea that was just meant to be. And it鈥檚 one that has been a real labour of love for the whole team.鈥
