Directing Duo Mathery Joins Immigrant
Immigrant welcomes Mathery to the UK and Benelux roster.
Erika Zorzi and Matteo Sangalli comprise Mathery, a one of a kind Italian directing duo bred from a background in product design and photography. Their work turns simple, everyday life upside down to form tongue-in- cheek worlds of humour and breath taking art direction.
The pair excel in creating abstract universes and their talents cross different mediums and disciplines from film, to photography to installation and product design. Mathery's strong personal and professional relationship since meeting at university has enabled them to bring to life their unique creations as independent artists, working all over the world.
Alternating between personal independent projects and directing commercials for brands such as Samsung, American Express, Klarna, IKEA and Facebook, the duo sees each film as an opportunity to observe the world we know and transform it into one we don鈥檛; one that鈥檚 filled with style, irony and satire.

Mathery says of joining Immigrant in the UK and Benelux, "After eight intense years of living and working in the US we are migrating back to Europe, off to a great start of this new chapter.
