MatÃas Del Campo, DDB Mexico's General Director, has announced David Castellano´s return to the country as he assumes a Creative Vice President role at the agency, after five years in the United States.
David began his career at Leo Burnett as an editor, then at JWT Mexico where he was appointed as Creative Director Associate. Finally in 2011, he came to DDB Mexico as Regional Creative Director for Latin America. In 2014, he entered the general market of the United States by joining Made Movement in Boulder, along with Alex Bogusky and Dave Schiff, former executives of Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
In 2015, he was named as Associate Creative Director at Deutsch Los Angeles, where he worked for Jason Bagley, creator of the multi-award-winning 'The man your man could smell like' campaign for Old Spice among others. Finally, David was named creative director at We Believers New York.
During his career, he has accumulated more than 130 international awards at the most prestigious festivals in the world.
"I have always wanted to return to my country and apply everything I learned at some of the best agencies in the world where I had the opportunity to work, and DDB represents the perfect stage to do it," concluded David Castellanos.
