The Stagwell (STGW) media agency appoints Ed Auden as head of Google Marketing Practice and Keith Lavender as head of Google Marketing Practice Operations

Global media agency Assembly announced today the appointment of Ed Auden as head of Google Marketing Practice and Keith Lavender as head of Google Marketing Practice Operations, effective immediately. Set to strengthen the agency鈥檚 deep expertise in Google Marketing Platform (GMP), these strategic appointments will fuel client growth via enterprise-level advertising solutions throughout the European region. 

Ed and Keith will leverage their combined commercial and operational expertise to enhance Assembly鈥檚 Google Marketing Practice, unlocking the full power of Google鈥檚 Cloud, Ads, and Measurement ecosystem. Leveraging best-in-class infrastructure, automation and data utilisation, the duo will deliver future-ready, privacy-centric solutions that bridge the gap between data collection, user experience, and regulatory compliance 鈥 ultimately supercharging media effectiveness for Assembly clients.  

As head of Google Marketing Practice, Ed will lead commercialisation and drive incremental business growth for the agency. Ed joins Assembly from Incubeta, where he served as head of commercial, GMP. He brings over a decade of experience in scaling media performance for various organisations, primarily through the implementation and adoption of Google鈥檚 suite of integrated ad tech and measurement solutions.  

Working in tandem with Ed, Keith will optimise operations to enhance client offerings through innovative solutions. Previously head of data insights at AXA UK, one of the first in the financial industry to incorporate Google solution, Keith has been a pioneer in Google Analytics development and implementation for over 20 years. His extensive knowledge within the highly regulated financial services sector offers a unique perspective on data management.
