Octagon has announced the elevation of Alyssa Romano to chief marketing officer, talent and properties division. Alyssa will continue to report directly to Phil de Picciotto, founder and president, Octagon.
Leveraging Octagon鈥檚 global footprint and deep resources across sports and entertainment, Alyssa will now spearhead the division鈥檚 strategic marketing initiatives, focusing on innovation, synergy, content creation, recruiting and storytelling. In this newly created position, Alyssa will oversee communications, social media and creative for the agency鈥檚 talent representation business.

An agency veteran, Alyssa previously served as senior vice president, communications and social media, talent and properties, leading the successful development and implantation of publicity, marketing, brand partnerships and digital and social content efforts for Octagon鈥檚 expansive roster of athletes, entertainers, and personalities. Alyssa has also overseen the recent growth of the agency鈥檚 women鈥檚 basketball practice and strategy in women鈥檚 sports. Prior, Alyssa held various leadership positions throughout Octagon鈥檚 talent division.
